I am a doctoral student of Religious Studies at the University of Ottawa, specializing in ritual and theories of agency. My current research is an examination of the Jericho March and ritual use in Christian Nationalist protest environments. I previously completed my Master of Arts in Religion and Public Life at Carleton University, researching women and ritual innovation.

This site’s initial purpose was as a space to gestate essays or ideas on my research. It quickly became a spot for thoughts that defied strict academic confines. Rather than focusing exclusively on promoting my scholarly abilities, I’ve allowed myself the liberty of exploring more personal, theological, and ideological writing. I’m choosing to reject separating who I am and what I feel from what I study.

I speak on Christian Nationalism as a social movement as well as its theological intersections, and I preach on the gospel and gender, inclusion, and social justice. I am also available to speak, preach, or write on these topics. I have previously published works of creative nonfiction, including in the Globe & Mail, Soliloquies Anthology, EVENT Literary Magazine, and Geez Magazine.
